Inspired by changing times, deeply introspective state of mind, tapping into my creativity. Photographing a scene is not enough… we must express the moment through colour that reflects my feelings and emotions. My life felt complex as I reflected on my broken marriage, divorce, and feeling raw. As a mother of 3, leaving their father in order for me to survive so I could get my life back and grow as a person. I needed space and to figure out where my life was going. My energy was focused on caring for my children, and I was working out my emotions through putting colour on the canvas.
Because life is complex.
